McDonald’s Happy Meal showing no signs of decomposing after 6 months. And here I thought Twinkies were the only super food. Eat up kiddies!

I saw this picture of Kim Jong Il’s heir, Jong Un, and all I could think of was… this guy would make a great Super Cuts spokesman!

Ever wondered what a North Korean TV news broadcast looked like?
For years I have been using My Back Pages as the go-to website for Bob Dylan guitar chords. And for years, the site has been exactly that, a place for Bob Dylan chords and lyrics. The site’s founder, Eyolf Ă˜strem, posted a message (in June, I didn’t see it until now) blocking any IP address from Israel from the site. Eyolf’s reasoning, expressed on his blog Things Twice was to start a, “cultural boycott of Israel, in direct response to, but not caused only by, the events surrounding the murders (or war crimes) on the Freedom Flotilla.”
Seriously, Eyolf? Seriously? You’re going to start a cultural boycott to prohibit the citizens of Israel (i.e. Bob Dylan’s motherland), from playing Bob Dylan’s music. I am flabbergasted. Why punish the citizens of a country for the action’s of their government? And why prohibit them from playing music - something that ties the world together and brings peace in an otherwise chaotic and violent world. Why do we have to bring hatred and politics into everything?
Oh, irony, I love thee
I knew Republicans were crazy, but this GOP candidate is loony tunes. YEAH!!!!!!
In slightly surreal news… While in Healdsburg, CA (Sonoma County, Wine Country) this weekend, the post office burnt down. I had nothing to do with it. I swear. I was drinking wine.
Don’t ever touch my f&*%ing comb. Just don’t.

From war-time debris to an architectural haven, Beirut is making a valiant comeback and setting its sights on Paris. I am inspired by this Middle Eastern capital city, and their forward-thinking attitude toward art and architecture in times like these.

Hmm… not exactly what I had in mind for a glass of wine or beer.
